Australia’s immigration SmartGates went down for plenty of hours within the current day after an outage hit the Australian Border Force’s (ABF) kiosk packages.
International airports, along with Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, have been affected by the outage, which pressured information processing of passengers.
Extra ABF officers have been launched in for information processing and to minimise traveller disruption.
According to the ABC, there have been extended queues at Sydney and Melbourne worldwide airports.
