Delhi to Strengthen Last-Mile Connection with New Electric Bus Fleet
Delhi is readied to boost its public transportation network with the enhancement of 500 portable, seven-meter electrical buses by 2027 – 28 Chief Priest Rekha Gupta announced the acquisition under the Centre’s PM e-Drive plan.
- Enhanced Connection: The smaller buses will certainly navigate narrow streets, improving accessibility to crowded locations.
- Modern Features: In spite of their dimension, the buses will include air-conditioning, CCTV, panic buttons, GPS, and real-time passenger information.
