Rescuers in northern Peru have been searching for caught miners at a tiny money cow in Peru, after the mine was purportedly struck by presumed illegal miners, a regional mayor claimed.
Segundo Armas, mayor of the Pataz space within the northwestern space of La Libertad, claimed on Monday that as many as 17 miners may be caught on the mine.
Armas was unable to confirm the number of miners that really had the power to get away.
