Business India Embraces Period Leave Plans
Mumbai– A number of major Indian companies are pioneering duration leave plans, reflecting an expanding recognition of menstruation health in the workplace. RPG Team subsidiary CEAT initiated a two-day-a-month duration leave policy in 2025
- CEAT (RPG Team): Two days of leave each month.
- L&T: One day of leave monthly.
- Zomato: As much as 10 days of leave each year.
These dynamic procedures aim to cultivate an extra comprehensive and encouraging work environment for women employees, acknowledging the obstacles some experience throughout menstruation. Specialists anticipate even more companies may adopt similar policies in the future.
