United States armed forces launched an unarmed nuclear rocket proper into Pacific Ocean on political election night

As with all ICBMs, the Minuteman III briefly obtained in space previous to returning to Earth’s atmosphere. While specific elevation data for this launch weren’t shared, the rocket has an optimum elevation of 700 miles (1,120 kilometres), which stays in lowered Earth orbit.
