The voter turnout for the first part of Jharkhand Assembly elections was virtually 13.04 per cent till 9 am on Wednesday, officers talked about, PTI reported.

The second part of Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 shall be held on November 20, whereas the vote counting shall be on November 23.
The 2019 Jharkhand assembly elections observed shut rivals with the JMM worthwhile 30 seats and the BJP worthwhile 25, down from 37 seats in 2014.
The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance gained a majority with 47 seats.
At present, the facility of the assembly stands at 74, with the JMM-led ruling alliance comprising 26 from the JMM, 17 from Congress and one from RJD, PTI reported.
