Karnataka to Ban Social Media for Under- 16 s
Bangalore: Karnataka will prohibit social media access for children under 16, Principal Minister Siddaramaiah announced alongside the 2026 – 27 spending plan. The action aims to minimize the adverse results of increased mobile usage on children.

- AI Learning: 5 crore alloted for an AI-based tutoring system for Courses 8 – 12
