Mumbai: Maharashtra Wellness Minister Prakash Abitkar has issued a stern warning to healthcare facilities charging recipients of state-run cashless health schemes. The government has currently recovered 60 lakh in fines after checking out 368 problems.

  • Zero Tolerance: Abitkar proclaimed therapy under systems like Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana should be completely complimentary.
  • Rigorous Activity: Healthcare facilities found billing individuals deal with FIRs and potential delisting from the plans. Twelve medical facilities have already been delisted.
  • Expanded Protection: The integration with Ayushman Bharat has raised protected ailments from 1, 356 to 2, 300, with therapy as much as 5 lakh.
