Western Disturbances to Bring Rainfall, Snow, and Fog Throughout India

New Delhi– The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has released a projection for inclement climate across several regions of India as a result of a collection of Western Disturbances.

  • Western Himalayan Area: Likely to experience rains and snowfall from January 31 st to February 3 rd, with a subsequent disturbance affecting the area from February 5 th to 7 th.
  • Northwest and Central India: Expect light to modest rainfall between January 31 st and February 3 rd.
  • Thick Fog: Forecasted in isolated pockets over northwest and adjacent main India till February 1 st, particularly in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and East Rajasthan.
