Sen Bernie Sanders‘ (I-Vt) previous advisor, Tezlyn Figaro, states “there was never a chance in hell” that Vice President Kamala Harris would certainly’ve gained Donald Trump within the presidential election, knocking her challenge as “a disaster.”
“There was never a chance in hell that VP Harris was going to have a shot at this,” Figaro knowledgeable NewsNation’s Dan Abrams on Friday.
“I said it, Dan, in June, I said it in July — they’re setting her up for a 100-day campaign, a woman of color in particular, a 100-day campaign was a disaster,” she proceeded. “Joe Biden should’ve got off the last two years. They should’ve had a primary and ran somebody for that seat.”
After Abrams requested her to outline what she believes failed, Figaro highlighted the errors she thinks prompted Harris’ loss.
“Well, one, Joe Biden was the problem,” Figaro claimed. “He should’ve got off beforehand.”
“But I do want to address the consultant class that have fumbled … a billion-dollar bag,” she included, declaring they’ve really been doing this “since Obama ran.”
“They have literally came into these cities, they did not listen to the grassroots. They said that they knew it all,” Figaro claimed. “They spent all the money internally, they spent all the money on celebrities, they did not listen to the needs of the people.”
Noting that the professional course “got exactly what they earned,” she happened to state that “it’s unfortunate because the people will now suffer as a result.”
“It is time, respectfully, to the George Clooneys of the world, the Hollywood of the world, respectfully to the James Carville of the world, who they’re still listening to … it’s time for them to have a seat and listen to the grassroots and what it is that they’re looking for,” Figaro claimed.
“And until they do that, Democrats will continue to fail.”
