SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korean battery producer Samsung SDI claimed on Tuesday it had really chosen to supply its polarizing film group to China’s Wuxi Hengxin Optoelectronic Materials for 1.12 trillion gained ($ 836.47 million).
Samsung SDI claimed in a regulative declaring the sale consists of the manufacturing and gross sales of polarizing films within the South Korean areas of Cheongju and Suwon, together with 100% of its overseas gadget at Wuxi, China.
The battery producer claimed the division making the divestment prepares to focus on merchandise for semiconductors, pure light-emitting diode (OLED), and batteries shifting ahead, to spice up competitors and benefit from concord with the battery group with continuous monetary funding.
