Tejas Competitor Damaged in Path Case

IAF Tejas Aircraft Damaged in Path Trip

A Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) of the Indian Air Force (IAF) sustained substantial damages after overshooting a runway at a frontline airbase on February 7 th.

  • Incident: The airplane experienced a thought brake failing upon returning from a training sortie.
  • Damages: Significant architectural damages was caused on the airframe.
  • Pilot: The pilot expelled securely and was unscathed.
  • History: This notes the 3rd crash including the Tejas considering that its 2015 induction; the second happened in November 2025 during an aerial display at the Dubai Airshow, in which the pilot lost his life.

The IAF has not yet issued an official declaration. The Tejas, made by the Aeronautical Growth Firm and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), is a multi-role boxer aircraft. The IAF presently operates 30 Tejas jets.
