India, US Reach Trade Agreement, Secure Key Concessions
Washington D.C.– India and the USA have announced a profession contract, with India protecting giving ins on tariffs associated with Area 232 for:
- Steel, aluminum, copper, drugs, vehicles, and auto components.
- India will certainly eliminate or reduce tariffs on united state industrial items, food and agricultural items.
- US clinical devices; remove restrictive import licensing treatments that delay market access for, or impose quantitative restrictions on, U.S. Information and Interaction Technology (ICT) products.
India also intends to purchase $ 500 billion of U.S. power, airplane, precious metals, modern technology, and coking coal over 5 years. The contract represents strengthened trade relations between the two countries.
