Nashik, Maharashtra– The Enforcement Directorate (ED) performed added searches in Nashik on Friday, targeting areas linked to Ashok Kharat, a controversial self-styled godman, as part of an ongoing cash laundering investigation.

- The probe comes from a Nashik cops FIR charging Kharat of extortion, religious adjustment, and attack.
- Previous searches on April 13 resulted in the seizure of 42 lakh in cash money and the cold of 2 4 crore in properties.
- Kharat is currently incarcerated, charged of duplicated rape and sexual exploitation of females under the semblance of “magnificent power.”
- He supposedly opened accounts in third parties’ names and linked his mobile number to regulate their operations.
