North India Braces for Wet Spell, Temperature Fluctuations
New Delhi– North India is expecting weather condition changes as a result of an incoming Western Disturbance. The India Meteorological Division (IMD) projections isolated to spread rains and snowfall in the Western Himalayan region from February 9 – 11 Key details:
- Impacted Areas: Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
- Extreme Weather condition: Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30 – 40 kmph) expected in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh on February 10
- Temperature level Shift: Northwest plains to experience a progressive temperature rise followed by a subsequent decrease.
- Haze Alert: Dense fog warnings provided for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Assam & & Meghalaya.
